A great part of a map of Africa from 1824 named “contrée tout-a-fait inconnue” - totally unknown country - has been cut out. This part of the map is then placed in its own frame. Here the lack of information in one frame, dialogues the lack of context in the other, discussing notions regarding information and the unknown.
