After finding a disposed piece of plywood outside a refurbished home, I used it to construct a new casing for a worn down slideprojector. The sculpture, in turn, projects an image of it´s former self: the plywood board it was made from.
The merging of these two obsolete objects reconstitutes the abandoned concept of repair, rehabilitation and restoration. In Some remarks on discardedness this notion has been fervently opposed by way of the enormous effort obviously put into the reconstruction of the projector.
