A standard sized 1m x 2m aluminium plate was cumpled into a modernistic cloud shape. The shape was documented before the plate was straightened and rolled flat. After this the plate was crumpled into a new shape and the process started all over again. After doing this 5 times the plate had several holes and massive signs of material wear. It was then cut into 8 pieces, and in an attempt to both cover up some of these traces and also to give the aluminium a new surface, these 8 pieces were chromed before they were hung on the wall.
