Press release:
Stian Ådlandsvik (N) & Lutz-Rainer Müller (G) are two artists with individual practices that during the past years have collaborated on certain occasions where they set out to find or create problems they thereafter react upon. At Kunstnernes Hus their task is to process the idea of collaboration itself and its evolving nature in communication.

Their seemingly paradoxical plan to come to terms with this involves passing on most of the artistic decisions in favor of an exhibition based on a fortune tellers visions and medical technology. CT-Scans of Müllers left arm and Ådlansviks right were made in the cellar of a medical clinic in Dresden. The data from these scans has been used to make exact duplicates of the bones in their arms printed in Polyamide by rapid prototyping equipment. These bone-duplicates have then been carefully spread out in their studio and examined by a shaman. Envisioned in the previously unseen depths of the artist’s arms, she told them what their exhibition would look like. The final show is thus realized in compliance with her visions.
