Opening of the drawing biennale 2010

About the exhibition:
The drawing biennale 2010, Lines on the Move, will focus on site spesific drawings and animation based on drawings. This is the 5th Drawing biennale, produced by Tegnerforbundet. This year in cooperation with Punkt Ø.
The main theme for Lines on the Move will be, on one hand, drawing as seen in relation to both installation art and sculpture as well as inquirys made into the technical aspect of different materials, and on the other hand, animations based on drawings. These two main themes were chosen because the Momentum hall in Moss is a specific place that is well suited for a more experimental expression of drawing as a medium. With this exhibition we also want to explore, on a lager scale, the premises and limitations of drawing. We wish to show that there are no limitations in theme, technique or mode of displaying in relation to drawing as an artistic medium. Many of the works on display are made especially for this exhibition, and some will be made in situ.
The Biennale is curated by Susanne Altmann and Stefan Schröder and will be open until 13th of June
